The Baltimore School for the Art's Music Department proudly presents the 2024 Winter Chorus and Orchestra Concert.
WINTER CHORUS & ORCHESTRA CONCERT
Directed by Dr. Mellasenah Edwards '85 & Dr. Mark Hardy
We hope you will join us in celebrating the the holiday spirit with the sounds of the season. This year, led by Dr. Mellasenah Edwards & Dr. Mark Hardy, the Baltimore School for the Arts String Orchestra will perform works by William Boyce, Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, and Jessie Montgomery, while The Baltimore School for the Arts Chorus and Orchestra will perform Franz Schubert's Mass in G Major. We hope you can join us in the Shafer Ballroom to celebrate the magic if the season through music.
Donations fund everything from the school’s performances and exhibitions to computers, textbooks, and tutoring for the school’s at-risk students; from scholarships for summer study and college to the very basics: paint brushes, instruments, and play scripts that our city kids could not otherwise afford.
