The Baltimore School for the Arts Theater Department Sophomores are excited to bring our 17th year of Historical Scenes to the Baltimore Museum of Industry. This year's project, entitled WORKING YOUNG, will bring to life stories of young people working in Baltimore in the first decades of the 20th century. Student designers and actors will explore hardships and successes of working people, their own age, in an era before child labor reform. Based on primary sources and intense scholarship, students use their creativity to find people the history books left out. The performance lasts about an hour and takes place in the evocative galleries of the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Directors include Tony Tsendeas, Paul Reisman, Brandon Gregory, and Wordsmith.
